BETA METHODOLOGY

1. Assessment/Audits

1.1 Base Line Assessment

Beta methodology starts with a Base Line Assessment. This is the first step for a proper diagnose of the present situation.

The Base Line Assessment includes the review and effectiveness evaluation of:

  • Existing Management Systems in the Company.
  • Different Risk associated with the specific Company activity and their impact on the overall performance.
  • Action Plans to manage/reduce those risks.
  • Personnel Development Plans

1.2 Follow Up Audits

These Audits are planned to be performed after the Company is engaged in BETA Process Improvement Methodology.

Follow up Audits are designed to evaluate the level of compliance to the new Management System and the effectiveness of the Performance Improvement Strategy.

After de design and implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan, and depending on the size of the Company and the specific plan itself, it is recommended to conduct Follow up Audits on a regular base, at least once a year.

Each element of the Plan will be evaluated during the audit and the level of improvement will be measured and quantified following Beta Audit methodology. The Audit findings will be presented to the Company Executive Team for further evaluation.

2. Consulting

Once the decision is taken to improve the performance of a specific business area, it is advisable the use an external consultant with experience on that area to design the Performance Improvement strategy.
